Ok i loved this episode and thought it was a fantastic way for it to end, i was a littel saddend by Anyas death but she died in such a cool way. I love the end when Buffy is running across the roofs of Sunnydale and thought it was amazing how the whole town just collasped into nothing. I think it was a very good ending to an amazing show

I agree this has to be in my top ten. It was a great end to a great show. Although i think Anya's death was a little well sudden but they where in the heat of the battle and thats what happens. I think one of the core scoobies should have been hurt more.
I mean Dawn was taking on the uber-vamps and wining i think she should have got hurt more then she did. But not die and all because then we wouldn't have giant Dawn.
The whole episode was action packed which is what we love about Buffy. But the Buffy saying I love you to Spike. People she DIDN'T mean it lol. Well i hope not.

I loved it, but Anya!
I didn't really like the whole potential thing...just seemed...strange. Its like, it wasn't up to the scoobies anymore, just Buffy and the Slayers.
The whole storyline for the season disappointed me...and Dawn, Anya, Giles, and Xander practically disappeared for the 2nd half of the season...way too much screen time for Spike.
As for the 'I love you', I believe in some way she meant it...maybe she didn't love him as much as Angel, but she did love him...she must have...she was with him in S7!
I can't remember what Joss said on the commentary...he said something about that...can't remember lol

You know what I had never even thought of it like that but you're right!
It would have to be one of my fav episodes, I really thought it was the perfect ending to a perfect show. I was so sad when Anya died but thought it was sweet at the end when Andrew told Xander she died saving his life *tear*
I thought the part where Buffy was explaining the plan and there was all the different shots of the potentials becoming slayers was really empowering.

It definately was, thumbs up to the camera people with those shots. It was just like everything was building up, and then the slayers finally got their powers, and the camera perfectly reflected that. I totally agree.
And I have to agree with †Slayer on the whole Spike thing. I don't think Buffy meant it when she said 'I love you' to him. I admit that Buffy did have feelings for him in one way or another, but I don't think that those feelings were love.
